Days of Giving: Humanitarian Aid

In every conflict fund the humanity. https://www.azgives.org/nomoredeaths

I lived in Arizona from 2008 to 2019. I arrived a young woman from the rust belt of NY and had little knowledge of the issues and conflicts created by the US border with Mexico and it's ever changing policies. During my decade there, I learned with and through community about the laws and policy that impacted the lives of millions of people in and outside of the US borders.

Among the shifting narratives and policies the work of No More Deaths holds up a guiding value for the Tucson Community and immigrants rights community at large. The value that humanitarian aid is never a crime and it's our duty and right to help each other.

During my ten plus years living in Tucson a border city, I witnessed years and years of trials prosecuting everyday people for giving water, medical aide, and medical transportation to people facing the shadow of death that is crossing the desert as a migrant.

Today, when more funding has been given to border patrol, consider giving during Arizona Days of Giving to an organization that shows up to help regardless of policies and who is in office.
